Isis

2010–2026

For nearly sixteen years, Isis was my companion on the road. She was a mix of Husky, German Shepherd, and Gray Wolf. I joked that she was my "mini-wolf" weighing in at 45lbs. She was a wolfdog with more love in her than seemed possible. She never met a stranger; every person and animal she crossed paths with were greeted as a friend. She was full of life, excitement, endlessly curious, always leaning toward whatever waited over the next rise. I was blessed to have her beside me for so much of the journey, and I always will be.
